Where it works
Coverage
5G/LTE data on True's nationwide network, from Bangkok to the islands. Here is an honest picture of what to expect.
Cities
Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Hua Hin and other urban centres have dense mobile networks and generally strong, fast data.
Beaches & islands
Popular islands such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Krabi are well served around towns, piers and main beaches.
Roads & rural areas
Main highways and towns are covered. Remote jungle, mountain valleys, national parks and boat crossings can drop to slow data or no signal.
What affects your signal
Mobile coverage is never a single number. In practice your experience depends on where you are standing, how busy the local cell is, your device, and the weather. A ferry in open water, a lift in a mall basement and a hillside viewpoint all behave differently.
- Coverage is strongest in cities, towns, transport hubs and tourist areas.
- Speeds vary by time of day and how many people share the same cell.
- Remote areas, sea crossings and deep interiors may have limited or no service.
- Your phone must support the network technologies used in Thailand.
Our commitment
Sabaibars connects through TrueMove H and dtac, which are part of True Corporation's integrated network in Thailand, giving you 5G/LTE data where that network reaches. We do not promise guaranteed speeds, network priority or coverage everywhere.
If you have a specific destination in mind and want to know what to expect, ask us before you buy and we will give you a straight answer.
