When should I install my eSIM?

We recommend installing it at home while you still have a stable Wi-Fi connection, ideally a day or two before you fly. Installing early does not use up your plan.

When does my plan start?

Your plan's validity period begins when the eSIM connects to a mobile network in Thailand. Exact activation behaviour is shown on the plan you buy, and we confirm it in your delivery email.

Can I keep my normal SIM active?

Yes. On dual-SIM phones you can keep your home SIM active for calls and texts while your Sabaibars eSIM handles mobile data. Just be aware your home operator may still charge for its own roaming.

Does WhatsApp keep my existing number?

Yes. WhatsApp, Telegram and similar apps stay tied to the number you registered with. Our eSIM only carries data, so your accounts and chats are unaffected.

Can I use my personal hotspot?

Hotspot support is plan-dependent. Where a plan supports tethering, any hotspot usage counts against your data allowance. The plan page and your delivery email state whether it is included.

Do I need a Thai ID?

No. You buy online from anywhere and install digitally, so there is no shop registration, no local ID and no paperwork on arrival.

What devices are supported?

What happens if I run out of data?

Your data simply stops working until you buy more or reconnect to Wi-Fi. Whether a top-up can be added to an existing eSIM depends on the plan you bought, so contact us and we'll tell you the fastest option.
