The rules, in plain
Terms
These terms apply whenever you buy or use a Sabaibars travel eSIM. We've written them to be readable rather than intimidating.
Last updated: August 2026
Sabaibars (“we”, “us”) sells digital travel eSIM data plans for Thailand. By buying or using one of our plans you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not purchase.
1. Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy from us. You agree to provide accurate order and contact details, and to use our service for lawful personal travel connectivity.
2. Device compatibility is your responsibility
Our eSIMs only work on devices that support eSIM technology and are carrier-unlocked. Checking this before purchase is your responsibility. Our device compatibility page explains how to check in under a minute. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every model, regional variant or firmware version.
3. Purchasing and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. An order is complete once payment is authorised and your eSIM has been issued.
4. Digital delivery
eSIMs are digital products delivered by email, normally within minutes of purchase. It is your responsibility to provide a working email address and to check your spam folder. If your eSIM has not arrived within a reasonable time, contact us and we will resend or reissue it.
5. Activation and validity
You can install your eSIM before travelling. A plan's validity period starts when the eSIM first connects to a mobile network in Thailand, unless the plan you purchased states otherwise. Validity, data allowance and any activation window are shown on the plan at the time of purchase and repeated in your delivery email. Unused data and unused validity days are not carried over or refunded once a plan expires.
6. Data usage
Plans are data-only. They do not include a Thai phone number, local voice calls or SMS. Calling and messaging apps that work over data continue to function normally. Where a plan supports personal hotspot use, that usage counts against your data allowance.
7. Network availability
Mobile data is delivered over third-party mobile networks. Coverage, speed and availability depend on network conditions, your location, your device and factors outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or any specific speed. See our coverage page for an honest description of what to expect.
8. Your responsibilities
- Install and configure the eSIM following the instructions we provide.
- Keep your QR code and activation details private; they can normally be used once.
- Manage your own device settings, including which line is used for mobile data.
- Monitor your data usage; we cannot always prevent a plan from running out.
9. Prohibited use
You may not resell our plans without written agreement, use them for unlawful activity, attempt to circumvent plan limits, use them for automated bulk traffic or abuse, or interfere with the networks we rely on. We may suspend or terminate a plan that is used in these ways.
10. Service interruptions and changes
We may need to interrupt or modify the service for maintenance, upgrades, or because of changes made by a network or infrastructure provider. We will keep disruption to a minimum and inform affected customers where we reasonably can.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a plan is limited to the amount you paid for that plan. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as missed transport, missed bookings, lost business or lost data arising from a lack of connectivity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.
12. Changes to plans, pricing and terms
We may change plan sizes, prices, features and these terms. Changes apply to future purchases only; the terms and plan details in force when you bought remain in force for that purchase.
13. Refunds
Refund eligibility is described in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Governing terms and contact
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@sabaibars.com.
