Will it work on
My phone?
Two things matter: your phone must support eSIM, and it must be carrier-unlocked. Here's how to check in half a minute.
1. Does it support eSIM?
iPhone: Settings › General › About and look for an EID number.
Android: Settings › About phone › SIM status, or search your settings for “eSIM”. If an EID appears, your phone supports it.
2. Is it carrier-unlocked?
Phones bought outright are usually unlocked. Phones bought on a contract or instalment plan may be locked to the operator that sold them. If you are unsure, ask your home operator to confirm before you buy.
Apple iPhone
iPhone XR, XS and XS Max and every later model, including SE (2020 and newer). iPhones bought in mainland China are physical-SIM only.
Samsung Galaxy
Galaxy S20 series and newer, Z Flip and Z Fold series, and Note 20 series. Some regional variants ship without eSIM support.
Google Pixel
Pixel 3 and newer (Pixel 3 requires a carrier-supported variant). Pixel 4 and later are broadly supported.
Other brands
Recent flagship models from Motorola, Huawei, Oppo, Honor, Sony, Xiaomi and others may include eSIM. Support varies by model and region.
Compatibility disclaimer
This page is a guide, not a guarantee. Manufacturers release regional variants of the same model, and some are sold without eSIM hardware or with carrier restrictions. We cannot confirm compatibility for every model, variant and firmware version in circulation.
Checking that your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked is your responsibility before purchase. If you check first and your device still turns out to be incompatible, contact us — see our refund policy.
